# Overview: Your catalog from zero to live

> Understand what Supadir is, how it works, and what you'll do in the first session.

Supadir lets you build and run a niche directory — a searchable catalog of businesses, professionals, or services — without writing a single line of code. You manage everything from a web panel. Your visitors browse, search, and contact listing owners directly.

## What you get

* Your own subdomain (e.g. `my-catalog.supadir.com`) or a custom domain like `www.mysite.com`
* A public-facing directory with search, filters, and profile pages
* An admin panel to manage listings, settings, SEO, and payments
* Optional paid listings — you set the price, Stripe handles the rest

## The two roles

| Role              | What they do                                                                                                                |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Catalog Admin** | That's you. You configure the catalog, manage listings, invite owners, and collect revenue. |
| **Listing Owner** | A business or professional who has a profile in your catalog. They can manage their own profile and pay for a premium plan. |
