OG image (social preview)
When someone shares your catalog URL on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, or in a messaging app, a preview card is generated. The OG image is the visual in that card — it’s the difference between a plain link and something that looks worth clicking. Set it in: Dashboard → Settings → SEO → OG ImageRecommended specifications
- Format: JPG or PNG
- Size: 1200 × 630 px (standard OG image ratio)
- File size: under 1 MB
What to put on it
Keep it simple:- Your catalog name in large text
- A short tagline or the main keyword
- Your brand color as a background
- Optionally: your logo
Updating the OG image
Upload a new image at any time. Changes take effect immediately, but social platforms cache previews. To force a refresh:- Facebook: use the Sharing Debugger
- LinkedIn: use the Post Inspector
- Twitter/X: paste the URL in a tweet and the preview will update automatically
Google Search Console
Google Search Console (GSC) lets you see how your catalog appears in Google Search — which pages are indexed, what queries bring visitors, and whether there are any crawl errors.Verifying your catalog
To verify ownership of your catalog in GSC, you need to prove to Google that you control the site. The available verification methods depend on whether you’re using a custom domain.- Custom domain (Professional+)
- Supadir subdomain
With a custom domain (e.g.
www.my-catalog.pl), all verification methods are available:Recommended: DNS TXT record- In Google Search Console, add your custom domain and select DNS record verification
- Copy the TXT record value Google provides
- Add it to your DNS provider as a TXT record on the root domain
- Click Verify in GSC — this usually confirms within a few minutes
What to do after verification
Once verified:- Submit your sitemap — go to GSC → Sitemaps and submit
https://your-catalog-url/sitemap.xml. Supadir generates this automatically. - Wait for indexing — Google typically indexes new sites within 1–2 weeks
- Check for errors — GSC → Coverage shows any pages Google couldn’t index
