Changing your password

Go to Security

In your panel, click Security in the navigation menu.

Fill in the password form

Enter your current password, then your new password, and confirm it.

Save

Click Update password. You’ll see a confirmation message. Your new password is active immediately.
Use a password that’s at least 12 characters long. A random combination of words (e.g. “correct-horse-battery-staple”) is both memorable and secure. A password manager (like Bitwarden or 1Password) can generate and store strong passwords for you.

Changing your email address

Changing your email requires verification of the new address.

Enter the new email

In Security, find the email change section. Enter your new email address and click Request change.

Verify the new address

A verification email is sent to the new address. Open it and click the verification link. The link is valid for 60 minutes.

Confirmation

Once verified, your email is updated. A notification is also sent to your old email address to alert you of the change.
If you receive a notification about an email change that you didn’t request, contact the catalog administrator immediately — someone may have unauthorized access to your account.

What your email is used for

Your login email is used for:
  • Logging in to your panel
  • Receiving contact messages from visitors (if the catalog is configured this way)
  • Subscription receipts and payment notifications
  • Security notifications (password changes, email changes)
Your public contact email (shown on your profile page) is a separate field in your profile, not the same as your login email. You can set them to different addresses if you prefer to keep them separate.

Forgot your password?

If you can’t log in, go to [catalog-address]/login and click Forgot password. Enter your email address and check your inbox for a reset link.
